Network World has a nice article on the impact the WAN has on VDI. Only one thing is missing ...
Here is a good article by Metzler/Taylor on the impact of the WAN on VDI. Only thing missing is "packet loss". When VDI is delivered over MPLS and Internet VPNs, dropped/out of order packets can kill performance.
