Compellent - Accelerate Data Replication

Compellent’s thin replication is a premier solution for protecting data across the WAN.  It sends continuous snapshots, called "Replays", between local and remote sites across a Wide Area Network (WAN), ensuring the highest level of business continuity at a fraction of the cost of other replication solutions.

Silver Peak addresses a variety of external factors that can impact Compellent data replication across the WAN, including limited bandwidth, high latency, out of order packets, and dropped packets

EqualLogic (Dell) - Secure Backup and Replication

EqualLogic® manufactures high performance, fault tolerant iSCSI Storage Area Network (SAN) arrays that enable businesses to realize the benefits of consolidated, self-managing storage.

However, replication and backup times can be stretched beyond acceptable ranges when doing SAN to SAN replication over a slow Wide Area Network. Silver Peak overcomes WAN limitations to deliver a 5x-50x (80-98%) performance improvement with EqualLogic's for SAN to SAN replication, while protecting all traffic with full 128 bit AES encryption. EMC - Data Center Storage and Replication

Silver Peak is an EMC Select partner, which means Silver Peak's NX appliances can be purchased through the EMC channel.  NX appliances have also been EMC E-lab certified to work with EMC SRDF/A.

When Silver Peak is deployed with EMC® SRDF/A, RecoverPoint, MirrorView/A, EDL and other EMC replication and backup solutions, enterprises can better achieve their desired RTO and RPO while maximizing investments in data protection, storage and networking infrastructure. The Silver Peak solution is particularly well-suited for high capacity WAN links (30 Mbps and higher) and environments with strict security guidelines.

HDS - Asynchronous Replication

Silver Peak improves the performance and reliability of HDS' asynchronous replication solutions, which include Truecopy and Hitachi Universal Replicator (HUR).  This is achieved by deduping this traffic to maximize bandwidth efficiency, and by overcoming latency and loss in the WAN, which can adversely impact the behavior of these applications.

IBM PPRC - Remote Offsite Replication

Asynchronous PPRC (Global mirror) is designed to provide application consistent data at a remote site at a global distance even in cases of a rolling disaster at the local site.  Silver Peak improves the performance and reliability of PPR by reducing the amount of traffic sent between source/target storage servers, and by overcoming latency and loss in the WAN which limits the effective throughput of PPRC traffic.
