Ferries may be convenient and relaxing for passengers, but for IT professionals they present unique challenges. Australian soft drink manufacturer Tru Blu Beverages has reduced its networking traffic through the use of wide area network (WAN) optimization, leading to a 91 percent data transfer improvement.

Charlotte Metro Federal Credit Union (CMCU)  was struggling to replicate all of its data to a disaster recovery location within its Recovery Point Objective (RPO). Branches were also growing, putting pressure on CMCU to upgrade their T1 lines.
