Aruba and Equinix have tested and verified solution interoperability between Aruba EdgeConnect and the Equinix Network Edge platform. Network Edge provides a modular infrastructure platform that supports a variety of virtual network functions including Aruba EdgeConnect-Virtual. The Network Edge platform deploys EdgeConnect instances at the very edge of the cloud, close to the wide range of IaaS providers, SaaS applications and network services that co-located in Equinix facilities. The joint solution is especially well suited to Aruba customers who have multi-cloud deployments or use cases which demand extremely low latency or high bandwidth between the edge of the SD-WAN network and target cloud services. EdgeConnect instances hosted in Equinix Network Edge use EdgeConnect enterprise licensing, are managed thru Aruba Orchestrator, and appear as typical EdgeConnect branch sites on the SD-WAN.
