The new office is an extension of the company’s continued international expansion and will serve as a platform for sales, support, and marketing initiatives throughout Mexico.
In conjunction with the opening of the Mexico office, Vicente Amozurrutia has joined Silver Peak as general manager of Mexico. In this role, Amozurrutia will be responsible for growing Silver Peak’s business in Mexico through new customer acquisition and partner development.
Amozurrutia brings over 20 years of industry experience to Silver Peak. Most recently, he served as general manager of Latin America and country manager in Mexico at Check Point Software, where he was responsible for sales, channel development, logistics, and technical support for the company’s Mexican footprint. Prior to this role, Amozurrutia held similar management positions at leading networking and security vendors.
