SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 19, 2017 – Silver Peak, the global leader in broadband and hybrid WAN solutions, today announced that it has formally joined MEF. As a new and active member of MEF, Silver Peak will collaborate in uniting industry efforts to enable a growing community of service providers, now some 130+ strong, to orchestrate on-demand managed services across multiple providers and multiple technology domains, including the rapidly expanding market for managed SD-WAN services.

“We’re honored to join MEF and look forward to actively collaborating to advance our industry toward new Third Network implementations that will enable service providers to quickly identify and deploy new managed service offerings, both in and out of region,” said Nav Chander, senior director service provider marketing, Silver Peak. “We firmly believe that managed SD-WAN services, particularly the ability to deliver tiered services, represents an enormous opportunity for services providers to drive new sources of revenue, growth and profitability.”
