Silver Peak Raises $17 Million in Series C Funding

Artis Capital Leads Funding Round for WAN Acceleration Supplier

Santa Clara , CA, January 29, 2007 –Silver Peak Systems Inc. ( ), a leading provider of scalable Wide Area Network (WAN) acceleration solutions, today announced that it has secured $17 million in series C funding, bringing the total investment in the company to $42 million. Artis Capital Management led the latest financing round, which includes investments from existing Silver Peak investors Benchmark Capital, Duff Ackerman and Goodrich LLC, Greylock Partners, and Pinnacle Ventures. 

The new funding will provide working capital to expand day-to-day operations, including rapid growth in the company’s global sales and support infrastructure.
