username
Description
Use the username command to configure user accounts.
Use the no form of the command to delete the specific user account.
Syntax
username <username> capability {admin | monitor}
no username <username> capability
username <username> disable
no username
<username> disable
username <username> password
username <username> password 0 <cleartext password>
username <username> password 7 <encrypted password>
no username <username>
Arguments
username <username>
Use no username <username> to delete this user account.
Use the no form of the command to reset capability for this user account to the default.
Use the no form of the command to reset capability for this user account to the default.
Use the no form of the command to reenable this account.
password 0 <cleartext password>
password 7 <encrypted password>
Defaults
The default username and the default password are both admin.

Examples
