cdp Description Use the cdp command to configure Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) parameters. Syntax cdp {enable | disable} cdp holdtime <10-255> cdp timer <5-254> Arguments enable | disable Globally enables or disables Cisco Discovery Protocol. holdtime <10-255> Specifies the length of time, in seconds, that the receiver must keep this packet. timer <5-254> Specifies the rate at which CDP packets are sent, in packets per second.
