interface shutdown

Description

Use the interface shutdown command to disable an interface.

Use the no form of this command to enable this interface.

Syntax

interface <interface name> shutdown

no interface <interface name> shutdown

Arguments

<interface name>

Specifies the name of this interface.

Defaults

None.
