interface tunnel admin

Description

Use the interface tunnel admin command to configure the tunnel administrative mode.

Use the no form of this command to reset the tunnel administrative mode to default.

Syntax

interface tunnel <tunnel name> admin {up | down}

no interface tunnel <tunnel name> admin

Arguments

<tunnel name>	Specifies the name for this tunnel.
up	Enables the tunnel.
down	Disables the tunnel.

Defaults

The default for Admin is down.

To see a list of the available tunnel names you may use, enter the following command:

<silver-peak> (config) # interface tunnel ?

Examples

To enable the tunnel, Rosenkrantz, for diagnostics only:

(config) # interface tunnel Rosenkrantz admin diag
